Cooler Master has a reputation for cases geared towards the enthusiast and its Stacker range of chassis have been immensely popular, being amazingly well built and very functional – especially if you have large water cooling or require plenty of fans. |

Having only attended one LAN Party, I guess the Ammo 533 case from Cooler Master isn’t really for me. However, for anyone that’s looking for a case that’s reasonably easy to transport, but can still take full size components, the Ammo 533 might be what they’re looking for. Made out of mild steel it’s quite sturdy and is more robust than aluminium. The chequerboard effect and the black and silver colour scheme is funky but it’s definitely a matter of taste. It doesn’t really work for me though. |

It’s not every day that affordable – or even cheap – goes hand in hand with good quality when it comes to computer cases, but the Thermaltake Mambo manages to pull it off quite well. The design of this case is what drew my attention to it, as it looks rather smart in a simple sort of way. |

If you’ve seen a CoolerMaster Stacker case, then you’ll have a rough idea of what the XBlade looks like. However, the XBlade shares more than just looks with the Stacker as many of its features are also similar. What it doesn’t have is space for two PSUs or a large watercooling kit like the Stacker, nor does it come with wheels. |

NZXT is a specialist case manufacturer and has as such gained a following in parts of the gaming and modding community. The company is known for the distinctive look of its cases, starting with the Guardian and this has continued with several different products. The Nemesis Elite is NZXTs first aluminium case and the internal construction is similar to that of the Gigabyte 3D Aurora. |

We recently reviewed Thermaltake's Armor case and came away impressed with its plentiful features and appealing value. Thermaltake has taken a more pacifistic marketing approach with its high-end Tai-Chi, but its philosophy of quality and flexibility hasn't changed. The question is whether this top-of-the-line case commands its premium price. |
